I’ve been thinking about if AI generated images are good to use on websites, and here’s my opinion.
I think if you make it obvious, it’s better. What I mean is, having AI generate illustrations or something that looks like it’s not supposed to be real is probably better because you’re already showing something that is obviously generated. Nobody is going to look at an illustration like this and think it’s real, right?

No, it’s fake on purpose.
I know that pretty soon we really won’t be able to tell the difference, but if you want to be on the safe side, I’d say it’s better to use AI to generate illustrations or cartoons or something that’s not meant to look real. It’ll take this question out of the equation. It’s not an issue anymore. It’s the safe bet.
I’ve had to learn this over time, I’d say. Still some AI-generated images that are meant to look real do look pretty real. So, it’s up to you. This is just my opinion.
AI is a tool. Whether you’re an expert of using that tool or not is going to show in the result.
